UNCG Rallies to Down Elon Baseball

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Elon University baseball team saw the UNCG Spartans eliminate a five-run deficit as the Phoenix dropped a 12-8 decision on Tuesday at UNCG Baseball Stadium. James Venuto had a big day at the plate for Elon (6-7). Venuto matched a career high with four RBI and was 3-for-4 with a double and his first home run of the season. Strong First Half Lifts Elon To 64-53 Win At Hofstra

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – Elon University finished off the first half of the CAA women’s basketball season on Sunday, Jan. 29, with a 64-53 win at Hofstra at David S. Mack Sports Complex.   Now 8-1 in conference play and holding strong in first place, Elon’s .889 winning percentage in CAA action is the best mark for the Phoenix in the program’s 18-year run as a Division I member. Duke Versus Elon Tickets On Sale September 30

Greensboro, NC – The Greensboro Coliseum will host Duke vs. Elon men’s basketball on December 21 at 6 p.m. Tickets will go on sale Friday, September 30 at 11 a.m.   Duke finished 25-11 last season and reached the Sweet Sixteen round of the NCAA Tournament. Buoyed by a highly regarded recruiting class, Duke has been ranked No. 1 in numerous preseason polls.
