American Pickers Returning to South Carolina

The History Channel’s American Pickers follows treasure hunters Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz as they scour sheds, barns, basements, garages, and junkyards across the country for antiques and Americana. These pickers are returning to South Carolina during the show’s fourth season, with plans to shoot early this year. When American Pickers debuted on the History Channel in January 2010, over 3 million viewers tuned in. Two years later, the reality show still ranks among top cable programs, as an impressive 6.13 million viewers watched on the first Monday night of the new year. So far in season four, Mike and Frank have continued their cross-country antique search in Mississippi, Minnesota, West Virginia, Maryland, South Dakota, Virginia, Maine, and D.C….

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Finishes Home In North Carolina

Ty Pennington and the rest of the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition team finished up the home for the Friday family in Lincolnton, North Carolina, on Saturday afternoon. The neighborhood was packed with hundreds of spectators and volunteers for the 6 p.m. reveal. The emotional Friday family wasn’t only thankful for their new home but the Extreme Makeover’s team also setup a House of Hope in the Friday’s new home. The Friday’s House of Hope will be a resource for families with foster children. The idea is to provide important items, such as age-appropriate clothing, diapers and toys, on an emergency basis.
