COLUMBIA, S.C. – Freshman right-hander Braden Webb was selected in the 3rd round of the 2016 MLB Draft as the 82nd overall selection by the Milwaukee Brewers. Webb was a Freshman All-America selection earlier this week by Collegiate Baseball. He is 10-5 with a 3.24 ERA. Webb became the 31st pitcher in school history to reach 10 or more wins with a victory in the 4-2 win over Alabama on May 20. EUGENE, Ore. – South Carolina men’s golf standout Matt NeSmith was tabbed a PING First Team All-American, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced today at the NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championship. NeSmith is the first golfer in program history to receive First-Team All-America honors.   Tuesday’s announcement marks the third time the North Augusta, S.C., native has been recognized as an All-American.
